FillBuckwheat hulls, adjustable
FeelFirm, molds to your head and neck
ColorsLight Green, Gray, Pink, Brick Red

Inspired by the traditional Japanese sobakawa pillow, it is filled with buckwheat hulls that shift to fit the shape of your head and neck and stay put all night.

Hulls let air move through the pillow so it sleeps cooler than foam, and you can add or remove fill to set the firmness.

Size guide: Choose 16 x 24 in for nightly sleep. Side sleepers usually keep it fuller for extra height, while back and stomach sleepers remove some hulls for a lower, flatter feel. Choose 12 x 20 in for naps, travel, reading or kids.

Your first few nights: Buckwheat feels firmer than a feather or foam pillow, and the hulls make a soft, natural rustle as they settle around you. Give it a few nights and adjust the fill until it feels just right.

Frequently Asked Questions

What size should I choose?

Choose 16 x 24 in for nightly sleep. Side sleepers usually keep it fuller for extra height, while back and stomach sleepers remove some hulls for a lower feel. Choose 12 x 20 in for naps, travel, reading or kids.

Can I change how firm it is?

Yes. Unzip the pillow and remove some hulls for a softer, lower pillow, or keep them all in for full firm support.

How do I care for it?

Remove the hulls before washing the cover. Air the hulls in the sun now and then to keep them fresh.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is free on every order across the US. Orders are processed within 0–1 business days, and a link to track your order is emailed to you within 24 hours.
