Orbita Swivel Flush Mount Light

The shade is optical acrylic rather than glass, and that is what makes the swivel work. It is light enough to move through a full 270 degrees without straining the joint, and it diffuses the integrated LED into a warm even disc with no visible hot spot.

It mounts flat or on a slope up to 30 degrees with no adapter, which solves a common problem in attic rooms, stairwells and anywhere the ceiling is not level. The arm then aims the light where it is actually needed instead of straight down.

The LED is built in at 3000K, close to old incandescent warmth, and draws about 36 watts.

Size guide: At 15.7 in across, it suits most bedrooms, hallways and landings. In long hallways, plan on one fixture about every 8 to 10 ft. On a sloped ceiling, mount it flat to the slope and swivel the shade toward the stairs, desk or bed you want lit.
