Frequently Asked Questions

Which size should I choose?

It comes in 16, 20 or 24 in across. Over a dining table, a shade about half the table's width looks right; the 16 in suits kitchen islands and smaller rooms.

How does it install?

It mounts to a standard ceiling junction box and hangs from an adjustable cord. We recommend a licensed electrician for the wiring.

How is it powered?

It is hardwired into the ceiling and runs off your wall switch. The LED light source is built in, so there is no bulb to buy.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is free on every order across the US. Orders are processed within 0–1 business days, and a link to track your order is emailed to you within 24 hours.

Who is behind Vemillo?

Vemillo is an independent lighting shop based in Maryland, started by Noah to bring well-made lighting to real homes without the designer markup. Every email is answered personally at info@vemillo.com, usually within 1–2 business days.
