Lumo Folding Reading Sconce

This sconce folds flat into the wall when it is off, so it takes essentially no space beside a bed. Pull the head out and it switches on, push it back and it switches off. There is no separate switch to fit, and nothing to fumble for in the dark.

The head is a narrow aluminum alloy tube that throws a tight 160 lumen pool exactly where it is aimed. That is enough to read by without lighting the whole room or waking anyone sleeping alongside.

It installs either way up, so the light can point left or right depending on which side of the bed it lives on. It needs an in wall recessed cavity rather than a standard US junction box, so check the cut out dimensions below before ordering.

Size guide: Mount it so the head sits roughly 20 to 24 in above the top of the mattress and slightly to the side, so the light falls on the page rather than in your eyes. Before ordering, check your wall against the cut out size and depth below, since it needs a recessed opening rather than a junction box.
